Ayla Turan's sculptures focus on children and their world. Using polyester and a minimalist style, she explores the sociological, theological, psychological, and cultural contexts of a child's world. The artist captures the colorful world of children through the forms she gives to her sculptures, and her frequent use of smooth white color alludes to their innocent and pure world.
